50 years ago as of 2020, in 1970, Myrtle Beach Travel Park opened to the public. We’ve been helping to create memorable family-oriented camping experiences ever since. We are so proud to say we’ve become a family favorite for multiple generations who spend long and short breaks from home enjoying the beach and the endless activities the Park and surrounding Myrtle Beach area offer.

Initially, a franchisee operating under the name Holiday Inn Travel Park, the operators decided in 1980 not to continue with the franchiser and changed the name to Myrtle Beach Travel Park.
