We are currently seeking qualified Housekeeping personnel to join our team at Myrtle Beach Travel Park
The Housekeeping position is responsible for performing various housekeeping duties to ensure that our rentals and facilities are clean and tidy and that our guests have a top-notch experience at the campground. This position is 40+hours a week. Evenings and weekends are required.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide open communication to Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete regular campground rental inspections.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Ensure all company appearance and safety standards are always met.
- Report maintenance & safety concerns directly to the Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
- Respond to calls for housekeeping.
- Complete work in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.
Work closely with the cleaning company to ensure the following duties are completed and ready for our guests.
- Clean the Rentals, Bathhouses, Laundry Facility, Offices, and public access areas. This includes post-event/activity cleanup efforts.
- Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
- Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
- Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
- Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
- Wipes down glass surfaces.
- Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
- Launder mattress covers, pillow covers, and cleaning towels.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years in a housekeeping or equivalent role.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time and work in small tight areas.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- RV Park experience a plus.
